Sing We Now of Christmas
The Colorado Choir is delighted to present Harry Simeone’s “Sing We Now of Christmas” in its entirety — the carols, seasonal songs, classics, and popular tunes — all in the original musical arrangements.
Those who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s will likely recognize the choral arrangements from the popular album, originally released in 1958. The best-selling record by the Harry Simeone Chorale served as the soundtrack for holiday gatherings across the country for more than a decade.
Friday, December 5 & Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
(doors open 45 minutes prior to the concert)
Augustana Lutheran Church
5000 East Alameda Avenue, Denver, CO 80246
Christmas music often brings back fond childhood memories of home and family. Harry Simeone’s masterful choral arrangements give voice to those familiar melodies, allowing our choir to recreate that nostalgic feeling of wonder and joy for our audience.”

Psalms and Passion: The Music of Leonard Bernstein
The Colorado Choir and The Denver Pops Orchestra join forces to showcase the work of celebrated American composer, conductor, author, and educator Leonard Bernstein. Our combined concert, Psalms and Passion: The Music of Leonard Bernstein, highlights some of the composer’s most dramatic and most popular music.
Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms will be presented in its entirety with full orchestra and choir. The soaring work combines the Hebrew language with the Christian choral tradition. Written in 1965, Bernstein was implicitly issuing a plea for peace in Israel during a turbulent time in the young country’s history.
The evening also features music from West Side Story and Candide—first by The Colorado Choir, then by the Denver Pops Orchestra, and finally by the two combined.
We hope you can join them for this special celebratory concert!
