The Colorado Choir is so pleased to introduce our new Assistant Conductor!
Hailing from Centennial, Andrew Fischer is a pianist and singer who discovered the joy of music early in public schools through participation in both choirs and orchestras. He first sang with The Colorado Choir back in 2004, and he briefly accompanied The Colorado Choir several years later. Fischer pursued a Music Education degree with a Choral Conducting focus at CU Boulder. For over a decade, he had the privilege of working with students at Heritage High School teaching voice, piano, and theory.
Outside the classroom, he’s been fortunate to contribute to local theaters like Littleton Town Hall and The Aurora Fox Theater, where he pursues his love of musical theater. Recently he was brought on as the resident music director at the Performing Arts Academy in Centennial. In between, he offers private music lessons to students in the area.
Fischer is grateful for a varied musical journey and excited to join The Colorado Choir once again.
