Gabriel’s Thoughts on Music:

Singing with the choir encourages me to be vulnerable and to open my heart, to be heard and understood, and to listen with humility. I hope that practicing all these things every single week has brought me more in touch with both who I am and what it means to share this world with others.

Music and singing of music written by others is very important to me. I consider it a gift to others if presented properly. It takes away the “noise” of our lives and is a way to have peace for all of us and as a gift to others. Also a great place to have friendships with others who think the same way.

The Colorado Choir is really something else. A family member of mine has been signing with them for years and I look forward to listening to them at each of their annual concerts. It’s a unique experience worth enjoying!

Evan C.

My favorite event of the holiday season is the choir’s Christmas performance. It has become a tradition for us to attend because it provides a lovely start to holiday festivities. The choir’s music is inspirational and awe-inspiring. Their sound fills the church and fills the heart.

Kevin S.

Sang in the choir in a recent season and it was one of the best decisions that I have made in a long time. It really rekindled my love of music. If you have the opportunity to hear the choir, you definitely should it’s a group of overwhelmingly passionate local musicians that want to share lovely music with the community!

Michael

My husband and I attended the Colorado Choir’s Christmas concert. When the first song was over the audience sat stunned. It took a few seconds for the applause to burst out because the performance was superb! It was a multicultural event as well! I recommend that everybody go and listen to the Colorado Choir.

Theresa B.

I have been attending their concerts for a couple years now, their Christmas concert is always very well done and the online will call purchase is really convenient.

Andrew H.

I have been an ongoing fan of the Colorado Choir and thank our close friend Becky McGurk for providing us tickets. We frequently attend the Christmas concert as it gets us in the spirit of the holiday. We plan to take our grandson to the March concert as he is very involved in the music program at North High School. We want him to experience the sounds of a beautiful choir. Looking forward to another great evening of music.

Juanita R-J.

I have attended the Colorado Choir concerts for the past 20 years. The Christmas Concert is so joyful and very rich in sound it always starts my Christmas Season. This Christmas I understand the choir will perform songs in French, Latin and Russian and during the Winter and Spring concerts will add a Spanish piece to the repertoire. This choir is spectacular.

Jennifer C.

I took my wife and sister-in-law to this concert. It was truly awesome. They sang how I imagine angels sing in Heaven.

Thomas T.
